BROADLY, PROPOSED ACTIVITIES UNDER THIS PROJECT INCLUDE ASSESSMENT/SURVEILLANCE, COLLABORATION, COMMUNICATION, ACCOUNTABILITY/PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT, POLICY DEVELOPMENT/SUPPORT, AND THE DEVELOPMENT, RECRUITMENT, AND RETENTION OF QUALIFIED PUBLIC HEALTH WORKERS. SPECIFICALLY, THIS PROJECT SEEKS TO ADDRESS FOUNDATIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH CAPABILITIES THROUGH IMPROVED CAPACITY TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT PUBLIC HEALTH PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO ADDRESS PRIORITIZED PUBLIC HEALTH INITIATIVES IN AI/AN COMMUNITIES, AND TO BOLSTER THE EXISTING PUBLIC HEALTH WORKFORCE THROUGH DEVELOPMENT, TRAINING, AND COACHING.
