Cookies

How AwardRegistry currently handles cookies and browser storage.

This page is written for the site’s current implementation. It should be updated if third-party analytics, personalization, consent tooling, or advertising technology is added later.

Current site posture

AwardRegistry does not currently present itself as a cookie-heavy advertising site.

The current public product layer is centered on page rendering, first-party event logging, and standard browser requests rather than marketing-cookie infrastructure.

First-party analytics

AwardRegistry currently records basic first-party analytics events such as page views, search submissions, and certain entity clicks.

Those events are used for product improvement and internal review of how the public lookup is being used.

Third-party ad and marketing cookies

The current public site layer does not knowingly rely on third-party advertising cookies or marketing retargeting scripts.

If that changes, the site’s disclosures and consent posture should be updated before those tools go live.

Why there is no heavy cookie banner today

Based on the current implementation, a large consent banner would be misleading if it implied tracking categories that the site does not actually use yet.

A fuller consent layer becomes more appropriate if AwardRegistry later adds third-party analytics, advertising technology, or broader cross-site tracking behavior.
