THE PUEBLO WILL CONTINUE TO ACHIEVE ITS VISION THROUGHITS OWN ACTIONS AND THROUGH INFLUENCING THE ACTIONS OF OTHERS. GOALS AND PRIORITIES CONTINUE TO BE THOSE HELD BYTHE PUEBLO SINCE TIME IMMEMORIAL AND ARE CENTERED ON THE LAND, NATURAL RESOURCES, LANGUAGE, CULTURAL ANDRELIGIOUS PRACTICES." (PLAN P. 16)AS THE THPO OFFICE CONTINUES TO DEVELOP, TIME, EFFORT AND COMMUNICATION IS REQUIRED TO COOPERATE WITH THESECRETARY OF THE INTERIOR, THE ADVISORY COUNCIL ON HISTORIC PRESERVATION, TRIBAL, FEDERAL AND STATE AGENCIES,LOCAL GOVERNMENTS, AND ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS TO ENSURE THAT HISTORIC PROPERTIES ARE TAKEN INTOCONSIDERATION AT ALL LEVELS OF PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT AS DESCRIBED IN THE PLAN PAGE18.THE PUEBLO OF SAN FELIPE RECEIVED ITS THPO DESIGNATION IN JUNE OF 2016. TO ENSURE THE HISTORIC PLANNING PROCESSON THE PUEBLO IS FORMALIZED, TIME AND FUNDING WILL BE DEDICATED TO CONTINUING THE FUNCTIONING AND ESTABLISHMENTOF OUR THPO OFFICE. GOALS AND DELIVERABLES UNDER THIS WORKPLAN WILL INCLUDE ACTIVITIES TO EXPAND UPON ANDSOLIDIFY THE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES OF THE THPO OFFICE, AND TO ENGAGING IN EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION WITH INTERNALAND EXTERNAL AGENCIES, INCLUDING THE NM SHPO.
