TO ACCOMPLISH THESE EFFORTS, THE RINCON BAND WILL CONTRACT EXPERTS IN THE FIELD(ETHNOGRAPHER/ETHNO-BOTANIST/ETHNO-HISTORIAN WITH GEOSPATIAL KNOWLEDGE) THAT WILL ASSIST IN EXPANDING OUREXISTING GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS) DATABANK TO ADD PREVIOUSLY RECORDED OR POTENTIALLY ELIGIBLETRADITIONAL CULTURAL PROPERTIES/TRADITIONAL CULTURAL LANDSCAPES/ARCHAEOLOGICAL DISTRICTS WITHIN THE TRADITIONALUSE AREA (TUA) OF THE RINCON LUISENO BAND. THE CULTURAL DATA WILL ENSURE THAT TRADITIONAL KNOWLEDGE IS BEINGRETAINED WITHIN THE COMMUNITY AND WILL ALSO BE USED TO DEVELOP EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO PRESERVE RINCON'STRADITIONS WITHIN ITS COMMUNITY.
