STUDENTS AND TEACHERS WILL COLLABORATE WITH PROJECT OCEANOLOGY EDUCATORS, LOCAL FISHERS, OCEAN FARMERS AND MANAGERS TO GAIN DIVERSE PERSPECTIVES ABOUT THE TRADITION OF FISHING IN THE REGION. ANOTHER UNIQUE ASPECT OF THIS PROJECT WILL BE THE ENGAGEMENT OF PARTICIPANTS' FAMILIES BY PROVIDING SHELLFISH OR FISHING LICENSES AT NO COST SO THEY CAN ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN AND BENEFIT FROM LOCAL SUSTAINABLE FISHERIES.
