THE PUYALLUP TRIBE OF INDIANS IS A FEDERALLY RECOGNIZED TRIBE LOCATED IN WASHINGTON. THE COMMUNITY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ADVOCACY PROGRAM, AN AGENCY OF THE PUYALLUP TRIBAL GOVERNMENT, WORKS TO ADDRESS VIOLENCE AGAINST INDIAN WOMEN BY PROVIDING SOCIAL AND SUPPORT SERVICES FOR VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, AND STALKING. WITH THIS FUNDING, THE COMMUNITY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ADVOCACY PROGRAM WILL: 1) CREATE A COMMUNITY OUTREACH AWARENESS CAMPAIGN ON DATING, DOMESTIC AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE; AND 2) SUPPORT AN ANTI-TRAFFICKING ADVOCATE. THE PUYALLUP TRIBE OF INDIANS HAS PARTNERED WITH THE WOMENSPIRIT COALITION TO PLAN THIS PROJECT. THIS IS A CONTINUATION AWARD.
