DESCRIPTION:THIS AGREEMENT FUNDS THE PARTICIPATION OF THE SUQUAMISH INDIAN TRIBE OF THE PORT MADISON RESERVATION IN ACTIVITIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE REVIEW OF REMEDIAL INVESTIGATION AND FEASIBILITY STUDIES, PROPOSED PLANS, AND RECORDS OF DECISION AT THE BREMERTON GAS WORKS SUPERFUND SITE IN BREMERTON, WASHINGTON WHEN THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY (EPA) IS THE LEAD AGENCY FOR REMEDIAL ACTION. THIS CAN ALSO INCLUDE REVIEW OF INFORMATION, ATTENDING SITE-RELATED MEETINGS AND PARTICIPATING IN FIVE-YEAR REVIEWS.ACTIVITIES:ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING SUPPORT AGENCY ACTIVITIES REVIEW AND COMMENT ON DOCUMENTS, COORDINATION BETWEEN EPA AND TRIBAL GOVERNMENT, PARTICIPATION AT SITE PROJECT AND TECHNICAL REVIEW MEETINGS, SITE VISITS, AND ATTEND PUBLIC MEETINGS.SUBRECIPIENT:NO SUBAWARDS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT.OUTCOMES:ANTICIPATED DELIVERABLES INCLUDE: ATTENDANCE AT MEETINGS AND COMMENTS ON DOCUMENTS. EXPECTED OUTCOMES INCLUDE: SUBSTANTIAL AND MEANINGFUL INVOLVEMENT OF THE TRIBE IN THE SUPERFUND PROCESS AND A CLEANER, HEALTHIER ENVIRONMENT. INTENDED BENEFICIARIES ARE THE MEMBERS OF THE SUQUAMISH TRIBE.
