DESCRIPTION:THIS AGREEMENT FUNDS THE PARTICIPATION OF THE RECIPIENT IN ACTIVITIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE REVIEW OF REMEDIAL INVESTIGATION AND FEASIBILITY STUDIES, PROPOSED PLANS, AND RECORDS OF DECISION AT THE EAST WATERWAY OPERABLE UNIT AT THE HARBOR ISLAND SUPERFUND SITE WHERE THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY (EPA) IS THE LEAD AGENCY FOR REMEDIAL ACTION. THIS CAN ALSO INCLUDE REVIEW OF INFORMATION, ATTENDING SITE-RELATED MEETINGS AND PARTICIPATING IN FIVE-YEAR REVIEWS.ACTIVITIES:ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED INCLUDE: REVIEW AND COMMENT ON THE PROPOSED PLAN, RECORD OF DECISION, POST RECORD OF DECISION SAMPLING PLANS AND SAMPLING RESULTS, AND ENGINEERING EVALUATION AND COST ANALYSES. ADDITIONALLY, THE TRIBE WILL COORDINATE WITH OTHER AGENCIES AND ATTEND SITE-RELATED MEETINGS.SUBRECIPIENT:NO SUBAWARDS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT.OUTCOMES:ANTICIPATED DELIVERABLES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO COMMENTS ON THE PROPOSED PLAN, RECORD OF DECISION, POST RECORD OF DECISION SAMPLING PLANS AND SAMPLING RESULTS, AND ENGINEERING EVALUATION AND COST ANALYSES AND PARTICIPATION IN SITE MEETINGS. THE EXPECTED OUTCOMES INCLUDE MEANINGFUL PARTICIPATION OF THE TRIBE IN THE SUPERFUND CLEANUP PROCESS AND A CLEANER, HEALTHIER ENVIRONMENT IN THE TRIBE'S USUAL AND ACCUSTOMED AREAS. THE INTENDED BENEFICIARIES ARE THE MEMBERS OF THE SUQUAMISH TRIBE.
